Could call of duty possibly become the next WOW?
Who knows, now that Call of Duty makers, Activision, and WOW makers Blizzard have merged, anything is possible. They may be considering turning the popular Call of Duty franchise into a MMO.
This is what Bobby Kotick has to say at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference.
"What would be the natural evolution of a property like Call of Duty into a massively-multiplayer environment and how do you monetize that?"
It sounds like Activision are really serious about turning the FPS based game Call of Duty, in the MMO direction.
